Elijah Ltd

Elijah LtdFordham Forensics has partnered with Elijah to bring their significant data hosting and technology focused litigation support capability to the Atlanta, GA market and the clients we serve nationwide.   There are several important cost, schedule and quality benefits that clients will receive from the FFI and Elijah affiliation.

First, FFI and Elijah are very price competitive with other e-discovery service providers.    Both firms typically charge lower unit price rates (labor hour, gigabyte, etc.) than other e-discovery service providers, particularly other national service providers.  Most important, however, is that clients actually realize the benefit of these competitive rates because the two firm's high proficiency and expertise allow them to be more efficient when delivering their competitive rates.

Second, another significant benefit is that Elijah’s hosting services are software agnostic, which means that they offer several different data hosting solutions like the popular Relativity as well as other leading edge platforms like Reveal and Xera.  All of these systems have different features, user interfaces and price points that can dramatically effect overall cost, schedule and quality. As a result clients can choose a solution that fits them best as a result of pricing, learning curve and productivity considerations.

Third, FFI is not just a local sales representative for Elijah.  Indeed, FFI is very knowledgeable and experienced about digital evidence, e-discovery technology, rules and processes. The reality is that every case comes down to a few exhibits and e-discovery is not an exercise in examining every needle in the haystack. FFI helps a client use the right technology to find the exhibits it needs without having to inspect every needle in the haystack.

Fourth, Elijah’s E-discovery Integrator provides cost saving project management capability, particularly when clients have multiple projects and are using different software platforms for their e-discovery projects.

Fifth, Elijah can also provide hosting and management services of a client's own software solution with their LitigationCloud.  This option provides clients the most cost savings with their e-discovery technology.  It lets clients leverage off of Elijah's state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and support team in order to reduce the costs and capital investments associated with storing litigation related data.

FFI will serve as the local Atlanta contact and provide clients with all of the same services that it has  provided for years like preservation and collection, consulting, project support, Early Case Assessment (ECA), forensic analysis and expert testimony to name a few. Elijah will provide secure processing, data hosting and managed services.

Elijah is an industry leader in computer forensic services and eDiscovery project management, processing, and data hosting. They utilize leading edge technologies and augment them with their own proprietary tools.

The most obvious benefit that Elijah brings to its relationship with FFI is its data hosting and managed services capability. The managed services model is becoming very popular as firms decide that contracting out the e-discovery related technology has many advantages in the ebb and flow of today’s economy. The managed services model lets clients focus on core litigation resources like associates and paralegals while leaving the technology issues to someone else.

There are also huge data security concerns for litigation data, as well. Law firms have become known as the soft underbelly of the data security problem and a prime target for both malicious hackers and even litigation adversaries. The managed services model in general and Elijah in particular can help clients manage the data security risks probably better than they can manage it themselves and at a fraction of the costs.

Even if clients have an existing in-house capability they may have a project that is a better fit for something else. Perhaps their own system is not the latest software release with the latest productivity features, or it is not quite as robust as the systems offered by Elijah, or they need wider global reach for clients, experts and counsel than is currently supported by their own network infrastructure.
